This initial conference has presented, through lectures, of the main themes of the ECO-IMAGINE project. The issues of Integrated Coastal Management, landscape and Geographical Information are analysed from different perspectives. In this view, theoretical lectures have been matched with case studies and practical applications and different project scales have been considered, from the European to the local one.
The four Working groups have been presented as well, trying to give a quick general view to the many applications that can refer to each of them.
Finally, the poster session gave the
participating researcher opportunity to share their experience and to
have an overview of the stat of the art.
