The GI-Indeed geoportal is a part of the GI-Indeed SDI and GIS E-learning programme and gives a live training example on how to webpublish geographic data and other related resources. The geoportal is divided in two sites:

The "ICAM-GIS" portal, dedicated to Integrated Coastal Management data

The "Protected Areas " portal, dedicated to Nature Protection data

This geoportal uses 100% OPENSOURCE software and could be used for:

• Access real projects information on Nature Protection and Coastal Management
• Access maps and discover webmapping capabilities
• Search and explore metadata
• Add and view geodata on Google Maps / Google Earth
